As the Taiwan’s Ghost Month is coming to an end soon, join TAP-LA’s Movie Night featuring an animated Taiwanese family “ghost” story. This film classic Grandma and Her Ghosts (1998) highlights Taiwanese family culture and tradition. The movie will have original audio Mandarin and Taiwanese with English subtitles. A young boy discovers that his grandma is a supernatural expert who regularly contends with ghosts. This animation is family friendly with some thrills and chills too. It’s 7.5/10 IMDb rating, 96% Google rating.

The movie will start promptly at 7PM, so please arrive early to grab food at the Blossom Market Hall! No outside food is allowed, but you may only purchase food and drinks from Blossom Market Hall vendors and bring to the community room upstairs.

Free for TAPLA members, $5 for non members
Tickets are non refundable but transferable. Please email info@tap-la.org for any questions.
Please attend only in good health condition. Masks are highly recommended for this indoor room. Folding chairs are available, but please feel free to bring blankets, pillows, picnic/camping chairs, or other comfortable seating items.
