⛵️ If you love spending time by the sea, you'll love strolling along the bluffs in Rancho Palos Verdes. We start at Point Vicente Interpretive Center, a coastal park with a small museum. Here you can spot migrating gray whales if you bring binoculars and are lucky! Volunteers count whales for the center and it’s small museum features these majestic creatures. The museum also commemorates the Tonga Native Americans, Japanese American farmers, and Marine World's time and place there. ☀️ Outside, we will take a short walk around the park trails overlooking the sea. Breathe in the ocean breeze. Reflect on the sights of the shining sea. Clear our heads as we spend some time in nature.

From there, we head 1.5 miles south to seaside Terranea Resort. There are a variety of options to enjoy at this beautiful resort. First, there are more opportunities to get your steps in. It's trails are open to the public. One short trail goes down to a small beach. There's an alcove there, but it can only been seen if you dare to climb on rocks! Or you can recharge at Sea Beans Cafe for their gourmet caffeinated drinks, sweets, and baked treats. ☕️ There's also a swanky lobby bar and terrace for relishing the resort life with a drink and small bites. The resort has outdoor restaurants if you choose to stay longer to enjoy the sunset. Retreat and relax. The world is your oyster for a couple hours in Rancho Palos Verdes...
